let's talk puppies!
Since we are a small kennel, our puppies are raised in our home and under foot. They are able to experience what life is like in a normal household as well as get lots of socialization! We get our puppies out daily once they're old enough to experience all of the sights, smells, and adventures that await them on our 20 acre country property. They are exposed to other animals, children, and people of all types. Our puppies are handled and worked with daily from birth so we're able to best choose a puppy suitable for your needs.
Do I get to pick my puppy?
Sort of. You absolutely will pick whether you want a male or female. If you have a strong preference to color, we we will do our best to match you with the puppy you want. Our #1 goal is to find you the puppy who will fit best into your lifestyle and training venue but we work with each buyer to meet their needs and requests.
When do I place a deposit?
We do not take deposits until the puppies are born. Once we have a confirmed breeding, we will start a name list of interested parties. When the litter is on the ground, we are better able to see what we have. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy for you and the puppy will be paired with you once the litter is 6-8 weeks of age.
What is the ideal home for your puppies?
Our puppies are bred with a working or sport handler's needs in mind. Our dogs are bred to excel in Schutzhund, PSA, Police K9, Nosework, Competition Obedience, AKC Rally/Obedience, and any other highly engaged training venue.
Do you sell puppies to pet homes?
Occasionally we will produce a litter that we feel will be suitable for an active pet home. Your options may be limited based on what we can best determine at 8 weeks to be the best fit but we will do our best to place each puppy in the most appropriate home.
When can the puppies leave?
Puppies are not allowed to leave until they are 8 weeks of age.
Do you ship?
Yes! We are happy to assist in arranging shipping to anywhere in the US. Shipping costs are around $400 to ship a puppy. The buyer will be responsible for all related shipping costs as well as a size appropriate airline crate.
